Abstract

Traffic accidents on the road have become a serious danger to society due to the loss of life and property they cause. These losses caused by road accidents are becoming more serious day after day, and reducing them has become a difficult and complex task in a society like our Arab societies, which still needs great efforts to reduce these accidents, which requires the need to improve traffic safety on the road to the highest possible level in order to reduce this problem.The factors that cause these accidents and how to overcome them. These factors are related to four main things, which are factors related to the human user of the road, factors related to the vehicle driving on the road, factors related to the road itself on which the vehicles travel, and finally factors related to the environment adjacent to the road. In this research, solutions to traffic problems were proposed that, if followed, would reduce the number of accidents and reduce their impact on the injured. The results of traffic accident statistics were also analyzed in particular, using statistics obtained from the Traffic and Licensing Department in Tripoli.
